DARREN WILL BE AT THE HERITAGE CENTRE FOR THE LAST AFTERNOON , SUNDAY 28th. JUNE FROM 1.00pm until 4.00pm. AND WILL BE HAPPY TO MEET YOU FOR A CHAT. We are open Thursday 10.00am until 1.00pm , Saturday and Sunday from 10.00am until 4.00pm .

🚨 SUNDAY OPENING UPDATE
& URGENT APPEAL! 🚨We have fantastic news! Thanks to a wonderful new volunteer stepping forward, we WILL be open tomorrow (Sunday) from 10am to 4pm as normal! 🎉As you know, Colin & Cherry have stepped down from Sundays after 10 incredible years. While tomorrow is saved, one person cannot do it alone. To keep our Sunday doors open safely and regularly moving forward, we urgently need half a dozen new volunteers to step up.💡 What you need to know:No expert knowledge needed: You don't need to know about Brandon, flint, fur, or the forest!The only requirement: Just a reliable commitment to help us keep the doors open.Can you spare a few hours to help keep this community asset running?👇 How to help:Drop us a message here on Facebook, email us, or pop in to speak to us tomorrow! Brandon Heritage Centre will be open 10.00am until 1.00pm on Thursday, 10.00am until 4.00pm on Saturday and from 10.00am until 4.00pm on Sunday the 14th of June. The temporary display “ Brandon at War” by local historian Darren Norton continues for another two weeks , please do not miss it.
Our permanent displays are open as is our shop. Admission is free.

Today is youre last chance to pop in and have a chat with two stalwarts and very knowledgable Brandonians Cherry and Colin Rogers. After supporting and manning every Sunday they are unable to assist after today but im sure we won't let them escape that easily. Today would be a good day to pop in and say hello and thank you, maybe even pick up a copy of Cherry's book.
OH and all this can be done after having your car washed at Brandon Fire Station 33 ( note image to grab attention ) not sure how many 6 packs there could be to display.

The temporary exhibition at Brandon Heritage Centre is Brandon at War by local historian Darren Norton and covers all aspects of life during the first and second world wars , it features how the way life was affected for local families and how they coped. Darren’s books will also be on sale , Brandon at War, proceeds of which Darren has generously donated to Brandon Rotary Club and we have a few copies of his book Little Pat for sale , this is a true story of a young evacuee who was murdered at Riddlesworth, worth a read. All our permanent displays are open, Flint, Field , Fur and Forest. Our shop is open.
We are open Thursdays from 10.00am until 1.00pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00am until 4.00pm , admission is free.
We hope to see you soon, you are sure of a warm welcome.
