A special memory from the archive today. ✍️❤️
This portrait captures the incredible bond between the lovely Baiba and her loyal Labrador Retriever, Elfa.
Elfa is always by Baiba’s side, guiding and helping her navigate life with her disability.
Three years ago, I had the rare privilege of travelling to Latvia to hand-deliver this drawing to them in person. Seeing their connection in real life made this piece so deeply personal to create. 🇱🇻🐾

I had a truly wonderful birthday yesterday and spent most of it away from my phone.

For a very long time, I'd dreamed of meeting miniature horses, and yesterday that dream finally came true thanks to their incredibly kind owner. They were even more amazing than I had imagined. 🥹🐴
There were also the gentlest giant dogs you could ever hope to meet. Despite their impressive size, they were so calm, kind and affectionate, and they completely stole our hearts too. ❤️

I'll share more about this very special day soon. For now, it's time to get back to the drawing board... and all the behind-the-scenes work that comes with being a full-time artist! 😊

Every time I send one of my portraits on its journey around the world, I still worry until I hear that it has arrived safely. Even after all these years of creating pet portraits full-time, that feeling never really goes away. I always breathe a sigh of relief when I hear that it has arrived safely.
I'm still far too shy to ask if anyone would share a photo once it's framed. So, receiving this was such a lovely surprise. Along with the lovely messages, kind compliments that the portrait is even more beautiful in person, and a heartfelt review on trustpilot, I was also sent this special little video. I'd love to share it with you.
Thank you so much for sharing such a genuine moment with me. ⁩ Moments like these are incredibly inspiring and remind me why I love what I do. Every pet and every memory you've trusted me with is something I truly treasure. ❤️

Just popping in to wish you all a lovely Friday evening.
Here's Bandit, a beautiful Border Collie with the most incredible different-coloured eyes. And before anyone asks… (as it has already happened to me ) - no, I didn't make a mistake while drawing his eyes! 😄 They really are that unique. This beautiful feature is called heterochromia, and it makes Bandit even more unforgettable.
I hope he brightens your day as much as he brightened mine while I was drawing him. ☀️🐾

Some pets find their way into the deepest corners of our hearts and stay there forever, even after they've gone. Honey was one of those unforgettable little guinea pigs. Full of character, deeply loved, and impossible to forget. Although his time with the family was far too short, the love he gave will always be part of their story.
One of my latest commissions, created in loving memory of sweet Honey. 🧡

Francine’s story is a beautiful reminder of what a little bit of safety and a lot of love can do. 🐾

She is a total sweetheart, but she hasn't forgotten her survival skills when a squirrel crosses her path!😁 It was such a joy to study these features and capture her personality on paper.
