The fantastic volunteers at Royal Deeside Railway have been working hard behind the scenes to fit in one more Cream Tea before winter.

Tickets are now available for the final Tea on Sunday (11th October).

With the trees starting to turn and our monthly Milton of Crathes Farmers Market also taking place, we can't think of a better way to celebrate the beginning of autumn.

During the close season, TwinPeakes Fly Fishing will be hosting a limited number of Salmon Fly Tying courses at Milton of Crathes.

Ross Macdonald, renowned fly designer will share his knowledge, techniques and experience throughout the course.

Congratulations to the team at TwinPeakes Fly Fishing, which took home the Innovation in Tourism Award at the Aberdeen City & Shire Thistle Awards 2026 this weekend.

The award caps off a busy few weeks for the team, who recently added Hooké, Canada's original fly fishing and outdoor apparel brand, to their shop at Milton of Crathes.

Well done to everyone involved on this fantastic achievement.
