It’s been a while, but they’re back !
The first few little wet felted pods are heading to The Pier Gallery tomorrow. Perfect for little trinket dishes on a dressing table or just to decorate a shelf.

Caren and Peter are off on their annual September holiday and they are looking forward to a well deserved break ☕️
They’re away from 4th - 11th September, off to bonnie Scotland !

Therefore, the gallery will be closed on Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th September. We will be open as normal on all other days with Kate and Fiona covering for us.

Messages and emails may have slow replies or will be responded to on return.

A couple of new ones that hit the gallery walls today.

I’ve spent today, getting lots of new ones ready to be framed . My lovely friend is looking after things The Pier Gallery tomorrow whilst I take a trip to London with one of our daughters and granddaughter to see the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Tate Modern. Ivy might only be four, but she knows all about Frida Kahlo ! 😉

I call myself a mixed media artist these days, I like to try and experiment with different media, mixing it up,trying new ways. But somehow, I’m always drawn back to wet felting. There’s something about all those lovely textures all blended together that lends itself to perfectly re creating our fantastic local landscape.

Well, after a crazy week last week, talks, workshops and baby showers, it’s nice to be back in the gallery today.
I’m here until 4.30 today, the music’s on, I have a big mug of coffee and I’m going to attempt to catch up on some work.
In my happy place 😁
