✨ What a wonderful ending to a vibrant weekend of art and culture! ✨

On Sunday, we wrapped up the second weekend of the Dans Les Collines exhibition with Ivo Van Woerden’s presentation of his book 'In de greep van de goeroe'.

While the rain was making itself heard both outside and inside ☔, our little venue was completely full of interested visitors. We were delighted to welcome back familiar faces and to meet so many new people!

Ivo gave us a fascinating afternoon and, of course, we ended it the way we should: with an apéro; drinks, delicious bites and plenty of conversation. 🥂

All in all, the perfect ending to a fantastic second weekend! ❤️

For now, our gates will be closed for three days…

But on Thursday, 3 September at 14:00, they’ll open again for the final weekend of Dans Les Collines! ON TO THE GRAND FINALE!🎨✨

Yesterday afternoon, art lovers and wine enthusiasts came together for a wonderfully relaxed and convivial gathering "on the hill" at Domaine Lavau. 🎨🍷✨
Thank you all for coming, for the lovely conversations, and of course for your appreciation and purchase of both art and wine. ❤️

De sculptuur laat een vrouw zien die gebukt gaat onder wasmachines, emmers, en bezems, maar ondertussen de handen van haar kinderen vasthoudt.
Het kunstwerk stelt de vraag: Wat noemen we eigenlijk werk?
Het werk van vrouwen in huis, in de zorg, in het onzichtbare, werd zelden betaald, geregistreerd of gewaardeerd.
Dit beeld is een ode aan al die vrouwen die zogenaamd " niets deden" , maar ondertussen alles bij elkaar hielden.

🎨✨ A Fantastic Evening About George Sand!

Last night, art and culture lovers were treated to a very special lecture by Madame Cherrier, guide at the Maison de George Sand à Nohant. 🏛️

With passion, enthusiasm and a wonderful eye for detail, she took the audience into the fascinating world of George Sand — a world in which the fine arts, theatre, literature and music all played important roles. 🎭📚🎶

In the atmospheric surroundings of Domaine Lavau, we felt as though we had stepped back in time and gained a wonderful insight into the life, interests and cultural world surrounding this remarkable woman. 🌿✨

We would like to thank Madame Cherrier for her fascinating talk, and of course everyone who joined us for their presence and enthusiasm. 👏

Thanks to all of you, it was once again an evening we will look back on with great pleasure! ✨

🌧️ Le temps est peut-être un peu agité aujourd’hui dans le Berry, mais ce n’est certainement pas une raison pour rester chez soi ! 😉

Aujourd’hui, samedi 29 août, l’exposition Dans Les Collines, réunissant cinq artistes au cœur de la France, est ouverte à partir de 14h00. Et à 17h00, nous rendrons l’après-midi encore plus agréable avec une délicieuse dégustation de vins ! 🍇🍷

Nous sommes particulièrement heureux d’accueillir Domaine des Tanneries - Raffinat & Fils, des vignerons passionnés de Châteaumeillant. Ils vous feront découvrir leurs merveilleux vins et seront ravis de vous en dire plus sur leur savoir-faire.

🍷🎨 Car quoi pourrait mieux accompagner l’art qu’un bon verre de vin ?

Et parce que le vin est encore meilleur lorsqu’il est accompagné de quelque chose de délicieux, les artistes participant à l’exposition ont eux-mêmes préparé de savoureuses bouchées pour accompagner la dégustation. 🧀🥖✨

Alors, laissons le temps être aussi agité qu’il le souhaite aujourd’hui... ☔💨 À l’intérieur, un après-midi convivial vous attend, où découvrir l’art, déguster du vin, rencontrer d’autres personnes et tout simplement profiter se rejoignent de la plus délicieuse des façons. 🌧️ The weather may be a little stormy in the Berry today, but that is certainly no reason to stay at home! 😉

Today, Saturday 29 August, the exhibition Dans Les Collines , featuring five artists in the heart of France, is open from 14:00. And at 17:00, we’ll make the afternoon even more enjoyable with a delicious wine tasting! 🍇🍷

We are particularly delighted to welcome Domaine des Tanneries - Raffinat & Fils, passionate winemakers from Châteaumeillant. They will introduce you to their wonderful wines and will be happy to tell you more about their craftsmanship.

🍷🎨 Because what could possibly go better with art than a good glass of wine?

And because wine tastes even better with something delicious to accompany it, the artists taking part in the exhibition have prepared some wonderful accompanying bites themselves. 🧀🥖✨

So let the weather be as stormy as it likes today... ☔💨 Inside, a convivial afternoon awaits, where looking at art, tasting wine, meeting people and simply enjoying yourself come together in the most delightful way. Feel free to bring your friends and/or neighbours along! ❤️🎨🍷
