"The Art of Listening" invited us to experience art beyond sight... through words, sound, presence, and imagination. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came, trusted the experience, and entered the darkness with us.

Andrea’s practice invites the viewer to look beyond the surface. Her works are layered, tactile, and atmospheric, giving pigment, structure, and light a striking physical presence.
From luminous gold compositions to intense fields of colour and subtle architectural traces, each piece carries a quiet force, a natural elegance, and its own magnetic space.
This exhibition is an invitation to enter Andrea Amelung’s artistic universe: a world shaped by matter, light, depth, and precision.

What happens when art is no longer received through the eyes?

THE ART OF LISTENING
An immersive art experience in the dark at the Anomalie studio Gallery in Palma.

On 21st and 22nd May, ANOMALIE Studio Gallery in Palma invites you to encounter contemporary art beyond sight.

For 75 minutes, visitors will discover the work and world of artist Nathalie Vin in darkness, guided by voice, language, atmosphere, and imagination.

At the heart of the experience is Ágnes Margit Pethes, expert audio describer, who translates visual art into language. Created to give blind and visually impaired people equal access to art, her practice opens a powerful new way of experiencing artworks for everyone.

An invitation to slow down, listen differently, and rediscover how art can be felt beyond the visible.

22nd May — Dedicated session for blind and visually impaired guests, in collaboration with ONCE
