Brigitte Bardot
was never just a beauty icon to me.
She was the ultimate bad ass beauty queen.
An amazing woman who conquered the world with glamour, freedom, sensuality and attitude… then walked away from it to dedicate her entire life and fame to a higher, noble cause… protecting animals.
That shift is what truly fascinates me..
After spending hours studying her through old interviews and video footage, I felt compelled to paint her. Not just her face, but her presence, her mystery, her strength and of course her glamour.
Before this piece was even released, a private collector acquired it. And honestly, this is only the beginning.
I’m so inspired by her story that I’ve decided to create an entire series dedicated to her.
