This summer, we brought Kids Play at La Nave back to life, a project that aims to bring art closer to the youngest members of the island in an engaging, creative, and fun way. Through a variety of workshops, children discover the works and worlds of different artists while experimenting, creating, and developing their own perspective on art.

-

In this edition of Kids Play at La Nave, we were inspired by the artistic universe of Carlos Jacanamijoy to explore nature through imagination.

The children first created an imaginary natural landscape in a figurative style and then transformed it into an abstract version, experimenting with shapes, colors, and sensations.

In doing so, they discovered how the same landscape can be seen and represented in many different ways, leaving room for imagination and creativity.

-

Immersive Soundscape into Naturaleza Interior

Moldovan singer-songwriter Yustinna and Ibizan multi-instrumentalist and singer Héctor Koa come together for a special live experience within Carlos Jacanamijoy’s “Naturaleza Interior” at in Ibiza.

Through original songs, beloved melodies, mantras and traditional music, Yustinna and Héctor will create an intimate journey of voice, acoustic instruments and handpan, inspired by the powerful visual world of the exhibition.

Jacanamijoy’s paintings draw from the landscapes, memories and ancestral wisdom of the Amazon, inviting us to experience nature not as something outside ourselves, but as something we are deeply connected to.

For this special evening, music and visual art meet as one experience, inviting us to slow down, open the senses and connect with the inner landscape within.
