I absolutely love this photogravure by Annette Harboe Flensburg!
To build the imaginary room in this series, she used a beautiful, dusty blue-gray palette.
But look closer... it’s actually not the room itself that takes center stage. The true star of this scene is the light. It pours into the space with a brilliant clarity that somehow feels both sharp and totally dreamlike.
This piece perfectly reflects Flensburg's broader focus on capturing the fleeting, vulnerable nature of being. Just like light shifting through a window, she reminds us that all boundaries in life are temporary - only lasting a moment before reality shifts and they dissolve.
If you could capture a fleeting moment like this, where would it lead you? Let me know in the comments!
