Now available: ‚Eclipse Editions’ by Márton Nemes is a series of 9 + 3 AP + 3 PP pieces. Márton Nemes painted each piece differently. He used porcelain enamel on sheet steel, which was powder-coated stainless steel. In the center is a cutout opening that contains a Plexiglas mirror. The lower MDF frame was individually painted with acrylic paint. The thin metal frame also varies in color. The Size is 67 × 57 × 4 cm (framed). Each piece is different and unique. Márton Nemes, who represented Hungary at the 60th Venice Biennale in 2024, has created a unique series of editions for VogelART. His artistic practice operates at the intersection of painting, objects, installation, and spatial experience. His works appear as energy-charged visual entities: color fields, reflective surfaces, industrial materials, and gestural interventions merge into vibrant compositions that oscillate between analog painting and digital aesthetics. Rather than focusing on the self-contained image, Nemes is interested in states of movement, fragmentation, and transformation.

The Series Eclipse Editions by Márton Nemes, published by VogelART, takes up central elements of this practice and translates them into an independent, object-like edition format. It consists of a multilayered mixed-media composition made of enameled metal, automotive paint, acrylic glass mirror, acrylic paint and canvas. Each work in the series was individually executed and further developed through different painterly decisions. As a result, this is not a classical reproductive edition, but a series of nine independent variations, each with its own visual presence, materiality and dynamic force.

Amazing artwork by Gregor Hildebrandt « Jean Gabin im Clan der Sizilianer », Unique artwork, Year 2025, Material ink jet print, plastic cases, inlays in wooden case, Size 104 x 87,8 x 9 cm. Available on request from VogelART. The artwork is part of the exhibition ‚Mimmo Rotella & Friends’ at the NEO art & culture lab x VogelART.

The exhibition ‚Mimmo Rotella & Friends’ at the NEO is a tribute to Mimmo Rotella – master of décollage and leading figure of Nouveau Réalisme – curated by Gregor Hildebrandt. The exhibition unfolds as a dialogue between Rotella’s works and those of contemporary artists who embrace, reinterpret, or critically challenge his legacy, creating a space of resonance between past and present.

Artists: Mimmo Rotella and Barbara Kruger, Bertrand Lavier, Daniele Buetti, Felix Schramm, Francesco Vezzoli, Friedemann Hahn, Gregor Hildebrandt, Isa Genzken, John Baldessari, JR, Katharina Grosse, Lothar Hempel, Rosemarie Trockel, Sissi Farassat

Twenty years after his death, Mimmo Rotella (1918-2006) is celebrated as one of the most influential and radical artists of the 20th century. As the founder of Décollage, he developed a distinctive artistic language in which he condensed urban visual worlds, torn posters, and fragments of mass culture into powerful, poetic, and subversive compositions.

‚Mimmo Rotella & Friends’ is not merely a tribute to a historical figure; it is a vibrant space of resonance between the past and the present. It demonstrates how Rotella’s artistic vision remains alive and continues to shape contemporary visual art and culture by offering a profound and open interpretation of his legacy.

The exhibition is based on a close collaboration with the Rotella family, who approached Sebastian and Simon Vogel in the summer of 2025 to realize an exhibition. Gregor Hildebrandt was invited to curate the exhibition.

Exhibition runs from 23 June to 12 July 2026,
open from 2pm-7pm
closed Monday and Tuesday
free admission
