¡Que el amor y la música gobiernen el mundo!
What did you think of Bad Bunny’s performance? It brought waves of tears to my eyes. In this exceptionally gloomy winter, it was a rare ray of sunshine. I am grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the cultures that make America fabulous. Baila sin miedo, ama sin miedo.
To see the triumph of love, music and diversity made me proud of this marvelous and wildly imperfect melting pot we call home.
After watching it, I was inspired to switch off the grim news podcasts and crank up the Salsa🎶. Entering a sewing flow state while wonderful music plays definitely makes my sweaters dance. 💃 🕺
It’s vital to step away from the doomscroll and be reminded that LOVE and joy are more powerful than hate.
My dancing collection of sweaters is almost ready. I think I shall name them after my favorite Salsa songs. (Do you have a favorite?) With luck I will have them ready to drop in my shop tomorrow.
