Drawing from history, spirituality, cultural memory, and contemporary experience, her paintings honor the dignity, complexity, resilience, and sacredness of everyday people.

Lacy earned her BFA in Art Education from the University of Illinois Chicago and her M.Ed. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Filipino-Canadian abstract artist ๐‰๐จ๐ž๐ฒ ๐‚๐ซ๐ฎ๐ณ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ฃ๐จ, based in Edmonton, Alberta, is celebrated for his distinctive โ€œ๐•†๐•Ÿ๐•๐•ช ๐Ÿš ๐”น๐•ฃ๐•ฆ๐•ค๐•™๐•–๐•คโ€ technique, creating richly textured abstract paintings using just two old brushes, a palette knife, and acrylics on canvas.

Meet Rashmi Ranganath

Chicago-based contemporary mixed-media artist Rashmi Ranganath, founder of WhiteSoulArt, creates luminous works that beautifully blend abstraction and realism through rich layers, texture, and storytelling.

Inspired by nature, memory, human connection, and transformation, her paintings combine acrylics, inks, collage, expressive mark-making, and oil glazes. Florals, birds, figures, and architectural elements emerge as poetic symbols, inviting collectors to slow down, reflect, and discover their own stories within each piece.

Originally from India, Rashmi began her artistic journey in Australia before establishing her practice in the United States. Her award-winning work has been featured in juried art fairs and gallery exhibitions across the country and is held in private collections.
