DOKI DOKI GALLERY将于6月24日（六）举办“Don’t Worry About Tomorrow”翟峪首场个人展览。艺术家翟峪，她的作品以猫咪为主题，将猫咪的趣味百变、独立、慵懒等各种状态，为倡导青年人“慢生活”的生活方式而生，透过以猫喻人，表达自己的幽默及观点。自 2015 年首次亮相以来，她已经举办了多场展览和与众多品牌合作联名。
本次展览主题“Don’t Worry About Tomorrow”，意旨在这个后疫情时代且快节奏的生活中，我们常常被种种烦恼所困扰，无论是对未来的焦虑、对现实的痛苦还是对过去的遗憾。然而，生活的真谛并不在于无尽的担忧，而是在于我们对自由的向往和对真正的幸福的追寻。
DOKI DOKI GALLERY will hold the first solo show of “Don’t Worry About Tomorrow” on June 24 (Sat). The artist Zhai Yu, whose works are based on the theme of cats, brings out the various states of fun, independence, and laziness of cats, and is born to advocate the “slow life” lifestyle of young people, expressing her humor and views through the metaphor of cats. Since her debut in 2015, she has held several exhibitions and co-branded with many brands.
The theme of this exhibition is “Don’t Worry About Tomorrow”, which means that in this post-epidemic and fast-paced life, we are often troubled by various worries, whether it is anxiety about the future, pain about reality, or regret about the past. However, the true meaning of life does not lie in endless worries, but in our desire for freedom and the pursuit of true happiness.

Peter Rhian is an Indonesian artist graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology Indonesia with a Master’s degree in Visual Communication Design.
Redmiller Blood is a character born of the conflict of the human subconsciousness. It is a symbol of the embodiment of the existential antithesis of the human being as dignified honourable and sane “normal human” in society with its ugly,crazy subconsciousness and an abundance of passion that has never been shown to others.
In SUPERHERO WITHIN, he will show eight paintings that share amazing stories in between one another. This series are my tribute to honor the Chinese people who have fought through and endured difficult times together. Contrary to the natural character of Chinese people who are diligent, hardworking and like to gather with others, at that time, they consciously sacrificed everything for the greater good, to keep others safe through difficult times. They become heroes not by going to the battlefield, but by staying at home. Redmillers in my painting represent those heroic acts, each are in different rooms and situations — battling their daily needs and keep their sanity, in humorous ways. I used mostly symbolic visual to portray what happens inside those walls, which many of them happen in their mind.
