We are delighted to announce a collaboration between Kulturfolger and Collectif Détente through the presentation of the group show “Dressing Room”✨

July 18 – August 24
Opening: Saturday, July 18, 6PM

As a new chapter in Collectif Détente’s Stitches project—an ongoing investigation into contemporary textile practices—Dressing Room invites viewers to peek through the space and time of the backstage. Transforming Kulturfolger into a dressing room, the capsule exhibition brings together stage costumes and presents them outside their original performative context.

Reflecting on rest and the anti-spectacular, the exhibition asks what these objects reveal once stripped of their original environment. Conceived as the trace of a dormant performance or an archive of gestures, it approaches non-activation as an active condition. Ghostly presences, embodied memory and intimate accessories: the works unfold the score of a silent reenactment.

With Marlène Charpentié, Josiane Martinho, Izidora I LETHE, Old Masters, Davide-Christelle Sanvee, Rebecca Solari and Gregory Tara Hari.
