Magda Johnson Fine Art

Magda Johnson Fine Art Contemporary Canadian Landscape Artist
www.magdajohnsonfineart.ca Her version of the North Pacific is one with textured waters & smooth skies.

Magda is a Polish-Canadian acrylic artist who draws her creative inspiration from the peaks and valleys of the North Shore mountains & the tides of the Salish Sea. Growing up in Vancouver B.C., Magda watched her mother play with acrylics and paint local landscapes, all the while influencing her knowledge, skill, and love of art. Her lifetime of exposure to this medium makes Magda consider herself

a self-taught artist whose style is constantly evolving. Reflections & ripples. The glow of the rising & setting sun. Working with palette knives and brushes, Magda aspires to elevate your home with her minimal, muted, and west coast sense of style. When she’s not in her studio, Magda can be found wrangling her two bouncy toddlers, walking her family dog between old growth trees with her husband Mark, and paddle boarding along local beaches.

Still thinking about the energy in the room from Sunday afternoon ✨🌸

25 beautiful guests gathered around one long table to slow down, create, connect, laugh, and celebrate Mother’s Day together — and it honestly felt so special.
Our goal was to bring something a little different to Parksville — a slow afternoon where you could enjoy the company of loved ones and new friends, try something new, be creative, and bring a little more connection and energy into a small beach town 🌿

Seeing the lobby of this spin studio come alive the way it did was incredibly meaningful.

Huge THANK YOU to:

• .with.the.wolves for hosting us in such an incredible space ✨
• for the beautiful catering 🥂
• for curating the entire vision and bringing the afternoon to life so beautifully 🤍

For all upcoming Paint & Sip Events, be sure to join my infrequent newsletter to get notified & check out my events page — seats are always limited ✨

Every so often I miss having a panting in my studio.

I created this one out of my love for the location, and the colours just evolved without any challenges or second guessing. Not the case for every panting. Cool to look back and see how it evolved.
