🌱 SHOWCASE 2026 VISUAL ARTS SNEAK PEEK 🌱

Propagations by Saskatchewan artist Aralia Maxwell explores the slow, intuitive rhythms of growth, care, and labour.

Using cake-decorating tools, Maxwell carefully applies tiny rosettes of acrylic paint to wooden surfaces, creating works that gradually grow over weeks, months, and even years. Inspired by her childhood on a multigenerational farm near Waseca, Saskatchewan, the exhibition draws connections between gardening, farming, homemaking, and the patient work of nurturing life.

✨ Come experience Propagations and more incredible visual arts exhibitions at OSAC Showcase 2026, October 16–18 in Saskatoon!
