‘VELVIA LINEUP’

From Jeremy: Raph Bruhwiler paddles over a wave at a remote spot on the west coast of Vancouver Island. This was the first time I’d been to this spot, and I love how the foam on the water looks like floating ice. To me, this image really sums up surfing in Canada. Cold and dark – and sometimes with really good waves.

‘BOARDWALK VERTICAL’

From Jeremy: Nova Scotia has some amazing waves. I shot this during Hurricane Igor a few years ago, when I was traveling there with Josh Mulcoy, Peter Devries, Raph Bruhwiler and Noah Cohen. We were hanging out and staying with Nico Manos, and this is one of the spots he showed us.

Yesterday, the gallery crew had the incredible opportunity to spend the afternoon up in the mountains with Atleo River Air Service. The perfect fall day spent appreciating this beautiful place we call home.

Feeling extra thankful this Thanksgiving for the people and places that make living here so special. ❤️

‘EAGLES PRAYER’

From Jeremy: During a trip around Langara Island in a small zodiak I stopped the boat to photograph a bait ball with sealions, eagles as well as other sea birds feeding on herring. This eagle flew right over the boat and as it did I kept shooting with my 600mm lens. The image “Eyeroam” was taken a moment before this one.

‘EYEROAM’

From Jeremy: During a trip around Langara Island in a small zodiak, I stopped the boat to photograph a bait ball with sealions, eagles as well as other sea birds feeding on herring. This eagle flew right over the boat and as it did I kept shooting with my 600mm lens. The image “Eagle’s Prayer” was taken a moment after this one.
