Meet Harpreet!
Born in India and now based in Surrey, Harpreet discovered an interest in fused glass after joining the studio. She enjoys creating a variety of work including mosaic pieces, sun catchers, and designs inspired by her heritage.

Did you know there is a Free Little Library in front of Espresso Café?

Mridu applied for a grant to bring a Library to the area, and her application was approved through the Neighbourhood Small Grants program.

With the help of the Frank Hurt YTT Carpentry Program, an awesome library was built for the community to enjoy. A monetary donation was also received from CUPE Local 402, facilitated by Lyn Verra-Lay, to help keep the library stocked with books.

A big thank you as well to Newton Business Improvement Association for helping us find the perfect location.

This little library wouldn't exist without a lot of community support. Be sure to check it out next time you're in the neighbourhood - and if you have a book to share, even better!
