We are looking for women and men who love history and working with the public. When volunteering as a House Ambassador, you will be provided with a period-style costume and training. Helping bring history to life, you will answer visitor questions and tour groups throughout the house and grounds. Our schedule is flexible with a minimal time commitment.

Complete the volunteer application form today to start a new adventure. Applications close on September 18.

Wrap up summer with us! Learn about the cider making process and watch a demonstration of the apple press in operation. Enjoy a vibrant day throughout the heritage site before it's back to school time. Hands-on demonstrations take place at 12:30pm and 2:30pm and there is lots to do throughout the park while you're here!

Come by Historic Stewart Farm to learn more about the different methods that the Stewarts would have used to make – and mend – their own clothes. In the Victorian farmhouse, sewing and handicrafts weren’t just hobbies – they were vital skills for the family’s survival! And if you come Saturday, you can also chat with the Peace Arch Weavers and Spinners as they demo their work.

The Peace Arch Weavers and Spinners will be set up on the farmhouse verandah on Saturday afternoon. Watch them at work and discover just how much work goes into making your clothes. While you're here, do a scavenger hunt (don't forget to claim your certificate!), visit Horace the wooden Horse, pump water and explore. Churn yourself to see how difficult it is and then taste how worth it the process was! Butter making demonstrations take place at 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
