I believe that art has the transformative power to heal (both the maker and the receiver). I believe that we get to make the rules, that we get to choose love and happiness and that we get to craft the life that has been waiting for us. I also believe that we are meant for the complicated journeys of brokenness and wholeness, vulnerability and courage, wisdom and silliness….sometimes all at once.

I work with people through technology and in the evenings I start playing in my art room with paint or metal or endless combinations of pretty much anything. Everything opens up – my heart, my mind and my soul. I listen and try to navigate my messy emotions and translate them using a paintbrush in my studio. Life is messy, precious, glorious & good. Possibilities abound. We can choose to feel, to give and to receive the gratitude that surrounds us and when I do, my heart and mind become beautifully . . . As a tactile creator my pieces often draw you in and make you want to touch and feel the varied textures which I hope evoke an array of emotion. I play with a variety of art mediums - from stone to paper and am inspired daily by the chaotic beauty that surrounds every day. I love natural elements and you’ll find my work often incorporates some form of metal, wood, water or stone. I continuously find inspiration from the four continents I have lived on (Asia, Europe, South & North America), from cultures and people I’ve had the opportunity to experience and from my dreams about all the others I have not yet had the pleasure of knowing first hand.
