Join the Mann Art Gallery and the Prince Albert Historical Museum for a hands-on Relief Printmaking Workshop with Ailah Carpenter, exploring the “jigsaw” method using rubber lino blocks.

Participants will learn the basics of relief printmaking while cutting, inking, and rearranging their block into separate pieces to create colourful, layered prints. Think of it like a puzzle but one you can print!

No previous printmaking experience is required, and all materials are provided. Just bring your creativity and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy.

This September, step inside Remix: A Permanent Collection Exhibition, a new exhibition co-curated by Heather Benning, George Glenn, Ace Denzel, and members of Studio Q.

They have selected works from the Mann Art Gallery’s Permanent Collection that resonate with them, works that intrigue, challenge, inspire, or spark their curiosity. Artistic Director Jesse Campbell then builds on these selections, bringing together additional works from the collection to create unexpected connections and new conversations.

The Mann Art Gallery is delighted to welcome Faith Sapitan to the MAG staff team! Faith is joining us in the role of Gallery Assistant for the next 6 weeks, made possible by the amazing Prince Albert Multicultural Council🇨🇦🥁 🎤 Youth Employment Skills and Support Program!

Faith studied Multimedia Arts in the Philippines, where she deepened her love for art, design, and creative expression. Inspired by local and historical artists, she enjoys turning ideas into meaningful creations. Outside of art, she loves a good RPG video game to sit in and explore immersive worlds and experimental sound design.
