Celebrating Your Success!
We are excited about our Studio Soiree exhibit and event, which is fast approaching. It's an occasion to celebrate the successes and accomplishments of our students and enjoy a summer evening of creative conversation and refreshments. Now's the time to bring in your work for the show... the deadline is Monday, June 22nd. If you attended a class in the last 12 months, we invite you to bring a piece that you created in class or as a result of a class you took. Work in all media is welcome: paintings, drawings, pottery, fused & stained glass, jewellery, felting, scratchboard, watercolour batik, original prints, encaustic, pastels, woodburning, sculpture (whew! that's a long and wonderful list!). If you learned it here in the last year, it's time to show it off! Please make sure your piece is ready to hang or display. Paintings or drawings don't have to be framed but they must have a wire or hook for hanging. Then plan to attend the Studio Soiree on Thursday, June 25th. Drop in anytime between 6 pm and 9 pm. Can't make the party? No worries, the show will be up until July 5, so tell your friends and family to come and see your work on display.
Dates to remember:
June 22 - deadline to drop off work, ready to hang or display
June 25 - Studio Soiree, 6 pm to 9 pm
July 5 - exhibit closes; time to pick up your piece
