The annual raffle for the Hope Agricultural Heritage Club is in full swing and the grand prize tractor is at the store now. This fully restored John Deere 920 is looking great!

Tickets are on sale now. The annual raffle is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Ag club and we are happy to support it here at the market by selling tickets right through to the end of the draw.

June Open House - Save the Date!

The annual summer open house is coming up fast, and we hope to see a great turnout at the Antique Machinery Centre!

June 6 & 7, 2026 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Join us at 5077 County Road 10 in the village of Canton, Port Hope to explore the AMC and take in vintage tractors, restored equipment and original displays. Photography is welcome!
A BBQ lunch will be available from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm (cash only).

June 7, 2026, our “All You Can Eat” Beef & Port Buffet opens at 4:00 pm
Our annual dinner buffet, catered by Taylor’s Custom Meats & Catering, returns for 2026!
Tickets must be purchased in advance
-Adults: $27
-Kids (6-12): $20
-Kids (5 & Under): FREE (hot dogs are available, cash only)

Canada Day Parade - Port Municipality of Port Hope, Ontario

The HAH Club will once again be taking part in the Port Hope Canada Day Parade on Wednesday, July 1st.

The parade gets underway at noon, and club members who would like to participate are asked to meet at approximately 11:15 am at Strachan and Bramley Street. Barry will be leading the procession with the people wagon.

Further details will be shared as they become available - in the meantime, if you’d like to join us, please keep an eye out for a future update!

Introducing: The 2026 HAH Club Photo Contest

We’re excited to launch a new photo contest this year, with some great prizes up for grabs for members!

Here are the three categories:
•Parade Ready - your best shot of a beautifully restored or show-ready piece of equipment
•Still Hard At It - equipment still doing what it was built to do
•Yard Art - a decommissioned piece of equipment that’s found a second life as a feature on a property

We've attached an example below of a tractor submitted for our “Parade Ready” category so you can see what we're looking for!

How to Enter:

Submit your photos by email as an attachment to our newsletter editor, Kelsey Jibb at [email protected]. Please include your name, the year and type of equipment, and any fun or interesting details about your photo!

Prizes:

In November, club directors will evaluate submissions based on merit (not the colour of the tractor, don’t worry!), and select a winner in each of the three categories.

Each winner gets bragging rights for a full year and a free 2027 club membership. Winning photos and honourable mentions are planned to appear in a 2027 HAH Club calendar.
