Earlier this month, the City of Pickering and Pickering Museum Village unveiled the Gather and Grow exhibit, curated by the Pickering Museum Village and University of Toronto Masters students 🪴

Sigrid Yu, Vasiana Moraru, Sydney Mills, and Olivia Mikalajunas expanded on Gather and Grow as a Museum Studies Capstone Project facilitated through the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information towards the completion of their Master of Museum Studies, in consultation with Prof. Mihalache and Prof. Hutcheson.

Gather and Grow is a transitionary exhibit in the Miller-Cole house at the Pickering Museum Village, expanded from the 2024 travelling exhibit of the same name. This exhibit focuses on the role of food in bringing people, communities, and cultures together 🍽️

Visit Pickering Museum Village during General Admission to visit the exhibit!
