2016 to 2023 (this morning) ..yeah..thats me!
Didn’t realize my own journey till this morning when I took the picture in my new shorts 🙈. Best decision I ever made was to take my health seriously and keeping my health on top priority. Health has been my struggle since the age of 10. For the first time I am sharing my before and after picture.. also I don’t know how much pounds I lost because it was never been about weight loss.. it was about my well being and still it is. I was sure if I continue to keep up with workout and eating right routine rest will follow. My intention was to get out of my health struggles and feel strong and healthy. I am not sure if I am out of the ordeals or not but I hope and wish that I continue with my well being journey.

A quick update ~ I know I am MIA. I wanted to work on small batch of pots for Mother’s day. However, something else have come up which I need to prioritize at present. My house is under renovation due to which I will not be able to work in studio for next few weeks 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I promise as things settles down I will start working.. my fingers are itchy

I am writing this very heavy heart 💔 I will no longer have retail space. I took this hard decision as last year was really tough for me. Things were stressful and I lost the joy of making. gave me an amazing platform . Last two and half years with them were amazing. I am so grateful for all the maker friends and customers I met there. Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻everyone for your continued support and love over the years!

It’s not a stop 🛑 but just a pause ⏸️. I will be continuing to do pottery but for sometime I would like to go back to learning process again and will continue to share my journey here.

On personal front, I am going on much needed vacation from February end.. Yaaasssss!! I’m going home after 6 long years ✈️🇮🇳. I have been grieving and sulking for not been able to make it to India on time and missing important events. Time with family is something I’ve been craving for.. 🏠☺️ and hoping this visit will help me get my closure. I can’t wait to be there and and share some fun pictures and travel reels soon.

Finally tested negative! 💃💃
It was quite a New years for us 🤪 Me n hubby tested covid +ve on 29th December and then next 5 days were horrible 🥵 (took me complete 10 days to come out of it) . The most hard part for me was to stay away from my daughter, my cuddly bear 🐻❣️. I missed her terribly 😭. We kept saying “love you” , “miss you” & “hugs” to each other from different rooms 😝😝. This is the longest we 3 stayed away from each other. In all this I’m so thankful that she didn’t get sick at all. Winter break was a bliss as we could rest and heal. With the grace of God worst is over. We feel weak and will be taking it easy for coming days.

Its quite late, but I believe in better late than never. Happy New Year from us to you all and hoping everyone had a great start of this new year. Wishing you all joyous and healthy 2023.

I unloaded my last batch of glazed pots yesterday and as someone rightly said every time you open kiln it feels like Christmas 🎄🎄Kiln Gods have been very kind to me, with the kiln error and few other things I was not sure if I will be able to do all my firings on time this year. I am so thankful that all is done now especially after that dreadful morning on Nov 15th.

I am sharing these two test mugs with you all as according to me they came out just gorgeous. I’ve been thinking of this glaze combination since last summers (if you remember I shared my berry smoothie in a mug with a green glaze inside) .. I have been tweaking and trying different glazes.. sometimes green was not right or the pink.. or no drip effects. Finally am super happy with the outcome and drip effects on these mug. This is what I love the most in pottery i.e. glaze combinations,drip effects, the chemistry. All the more fun was that it was the last firing for this year 👏🏻👏🏻 now I can sleep peacefully.

Take a deep breathe. Pick yourself up. Dust yourself off and start all over again.

Last week was horrifying, I almost died seeing kiln error msg at 4:30am 🤪🤪. All potter’s will relate to me as we’ve all had that sinking feeling when our kiln has an error message. There’s a never convenient time for kiln error but right during the busy season is probably the worst. Luckily the issue has been addressed and my kiln is running 🤞🤞 but since then every time I am firing my anxiety level is at peak till the entire firing schedule is completed.

I’ve been working nonstop to get everything ready for the upcoming in person markets and shop restock for Christmas. Anyway, as I am writing this kiln is cooling down and am happy to share my recent batch which came out just day before yesterday. I hope you like them as much as I do.

I have been absent from this account for last 2 months! I had to take this break because I had lost all my motivation. Everything around me was hurting me, including pottery. In last 2 months I spent time really being present and creating memories . The idea of focusing on myself was one of the best thing I did. I am feeling refreshed and inspired.

All this time I have not attended to any of my messages. I apologize 🙏🏻🙏🏻I’ll be responding to all the messages very soon. Thank you so much for all your patience.

The return to studio was long overdue and now that I am back at it I am looking forward to the busy season and having productive time in the studio. Currently am working on restocking my shelf at . Soon after I will start with Christmas stock (I know I am already very late😅) . I will be participating in few markets this year and will be posting details in near future.

Making berry bowl. Watch it till the end!
I am actually enjoying making these process videos.. it pushes me to try making a new form each time and share with you all. Don’t get me wrong here.. my first love will always be making mugs ☕️
I’ve fresh stock of berry bowls from my recent firing schedule which I’ll be soon restocking at bowmanville.
