This is a sensory-friendly version of our Toy Takeover Scavenger Hunt event! Guests are invited to dress up in costume and explore the Museum of Dufferin. Costumed staff will be running activity stations throughout the museum where guests can win prizes by completing challenges and games.

‼️Tickets for this hour are limited and will be checked at the door. Please register in advance to guarantee your spot! ‼️

What to expect during our Sensory-Friendly Hour:
-Music at a low volume
-No flashing lights or smoke machine
-No surprises, jump scares, etc.

In this workshop you will craft two pairs of unique fall earrings. Select from the range of tools, shapes, colours, and metal hardware to design your own seasonal pieces.

Calling all ORANGEVILLE residents - Have you ever wondered about the history of your house?

Presented by the Museum of Dufferin, this workshop with Archivist Laura Camilleri offers practical tips and resources for researching the history of Orangeville homes, businesses, and properties. She will demonstrate how to search online resources, newspaper archives, databases and archival collections. Participants will have the opportunity to research their own property (bring the legal description for your property / house).

'Heritage & Identity: The People Who Built Dufferin County' is a full-day, hands-on, curriculum connected educational program, that helps tie local history to your students learning!

Join us for the opening reception of the "Our Guiding Stories" art exhibition at the Museum of Dufferin on Saturday November 14, from 12 pm - 2 pm.

🖼️Featuring original artwork created by members of local Girl Guiding units, the exhibit explores the theme of "what Guiding means to me". Artwork will be displayed alongside historic Girl Guide artifacts and photographs from the Museum of Dufferin's collection.
