Our heritage buildings will host vendors from throughout the Maritime region at the Memory Lane Fibre Arts Festival on Saturday October 17th.

1940s Costume Magic Display at the Memory Lane Fibre Arts Festival (Saturday, Oct 17th)

In 2025, Memory Lane hosted a runway of 1940s fashion titled “1940s Costume Magic” as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations. The event featured outfits recreated from archival photographs that were cut, sewn, and knitted by talented volunteers of their costume department (often without the use of existing patterns.)

The project volunteers are pleased to present this exhibit of knitwear with all of you! We know you'll appreciate the time, dedication, and research that went into these pieces, and the skill of the volunteers who drafted the patterns and knit them into existence.

Memory Lane had a helping hand from the Army Cadets, Musquodoboit Harbour Division 2741 a few weeks ago.

They moved stacked wood and helped harvest our garden, and we are so appreciative of their help!
