Oshawa Railway (OR) line car #45 was built in 1925 and retired in 1965. It was acquired by our museum shortly after retirement.
This maintenance vehicle was used to help build much of our museum's overhead wire installation during our early years, and now it is on static display in our Barn #4.

It was a cloudy day at our museum back in 1973 when Ron Cooper took this photograph.
From right to left: Toronto Railway Company #1326, Toronto Civic Railway #55, London & Port Stanley Railway #8, and Toronto Railway Company #327.
Our museum had just opened to the public the previous year in 1972.

It was a busy day at our museum's East End in this photo from 1973. Credit to Ron Cooper. Holding the trolley rope was Gord McOuat, who still volunteers with us to this day.

In the background was TTC Peter Witt streetcar #2424, which is currently undergoing restoration work in our Barn #2.

Our second car barn was under construction in 1976 when Ron Cooper took these 3 photos. This was around 4 years after our museum first opened to the public.

At first Barn #2 was for public displays but now it is our maintenance and restoration shop. We are located at 13629 Guelph Line near Milton, Ontario.

Nothing cools you off on a hot summer day quite like a ride on our open-bench streetcar and an ice cream from our "East End Cafe"!
