We’re putting the finishing touches on our final exhibitions of the year and can’t wait to welcome everyone during our Opening Reception TOMORROW, August 29! Drop in from 1–4 pm, with artist remarks at 2 pm. We’ll have coffee, tea, and light refreshments, and everyone is welcome.

Opening in our Main Gallery is "YouthWorks," which presents the work of nineteen artists aged 13 to 18 working across painting, mixed media, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, digital media, and more. This exhibition highlights the diversity of young artistic voices developing across our community.

In the Upper Gallery, you will find “Hope and Healing Canada: A Journey Towards Decolonization and Reconciliation” by Tracey-Mae Chambers. This installation is a continuation of Métis artist Chambers’ national project of creating more than 150 temporary installations using red yarn to transform historic sites across Canada into spaces for reflection. By placing her work at a site deeply rooted in local history, Chambers asks: How do we heal together, and who holds the power to tell the stories of this land?

Both these exhibitions run from August 29 to October 25, 2026. Can't make the opening? Pop in and check out the exhibitions Tuesdays–Sundays, 10 am–4 pm.

We’re so thrilled to share these exhibitions with you and hope you’ll join us for the opening celebration!
