Mammoth mystery or mastodon marvel?
Join us for Tusk Tales: Species Reveal Party on Wednesday, May 6, from 7–8 p.m. A prehistoric tusk in our collection has been hiding its true identity for ages and we’ve finally solved the mystery! Make your guess, dig into a toothy talk from the experts, and stick around for the ultimate reveal…complete with cake. It’s time to get down to the tooth, once and for all.

The Friends of Simcoe County Museum are hosting their Annual Meeting on April 29, 2026 at 6:30pm. It’s been an exciting year, and this meeting is your chance to hear updates, have your say, and learn how you can get involved.

The Friends of Simcoe County Museum is comprised of volunteers who lend time and talent for regularly scheduled planning meetings. They are currently looking for enthusiastic people to join their Board. If you’re passionate about local history, community involvement, or simply love the Museum, this is a great way to get involved.
