We are the Community Museum & Archives for the town of Maple Ridge, BC. Just give us a call and we'll arrange a time for you to come in.

While our public open hours are restricted - particularly in winter - the museum and archives can be accessed at other times by appointment.

Back-to-school season has us feeling nostalgic!

This month, we’re heading into the museum archives to create our very own Class of the Past yearbook. We’ve picked some of our favourite archival photos and given them a few superlatives of their own.

🏆 This week’s superlative: MOST SPORTY! 🏆

This c. 1910 school group at Maple Ridge School came prepared for recess, posing with lacrosse sticks, bicycles, and baseball bats (P01921). With that much sporting equipment, the title of Most Sporty seemed like an easy choice!

Visit Haney House this September 20th from 11AM – 2PM to enjoy all things apples, celebrate the harvest, and Maple Ridge’s apple-growing history!

Apple Harvest Fest is a by-donation event and will run from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. You can look forward to lawn games, tours of Haney House, and apple themed crafts and activities.

What a lovely night for our final Music On The Wharf concert of the summer! 🎶
A huge thank you to tonight’s amazing performers, Golden Ears Jazz Band, for helping us close out the season on such a high note!

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the incredible bands who joined us throughout the summer and brought such wonderful music to the wharf Gift Shop (Tragically Hip tribute) Caden Knudson Cat Murphy Band ; our dedicated volunteers and staff who help make these events possible; and, of course, our wonderful audience members and visitors whose participation and generous donations help make this series so special.

And a very special thank you to our amazing sponsors for helping us keep these concerts free and accessible for everyone to enjoy!
