Congratulations to Michelle Good on the success of her recent novel 'Eliza Sunshine'. In the week of August 29 the book made #2 on the Globe and Mail Top Seller list.
Michelle is a Canada Reads and Governor General Literary Award winner. She is the author of 'Five Little Indians' and has made Maple Creek her home.
Copies of 'Eliza Sunshine' and 'Five Little Indians' are available at the SW Sask Oldtimers' Museum, we will be open on the Labour Day Weekend.

During Canada Historic Places Days, stop by the three designated Municipal Heritage Properties cared for by the museum, and have a look at the new information panels posted in a window at each location. The W.R. Orr Building once housed what is believed to have been Saskatchewan's longest continually operating rural law practice at the time (1903-2005). The C.M. Glascock Building once housed what is believed to have been the oldest continually operating automobile dealership in its original building in Saskatchewan (1909-2009). The 1935 Log Museum is believed to be the oldest purpose-built museum building in Saskatchewan!
