Tracy Bultje has a gorgeous new collection of landscapes and scenes from the river available at Westland Gallery!

It’s a beautiful day for a gallery visit, and today is the reception for Where I Like To Be!

The reception continues for another hour (until 3pm) and all are welcome to stop by for some refreshments and art. All 3 artists are here, seen in these photos with gallery co-owner Al!

Where I Like Go Be features work by Julia Ismambetova, Tracy Bultje, and Kim Atlin, and continues until June 20th. You won’t want to miss it!

We love Kim's paintings and are so happy she's joined us for the first time for, Where I Like to Be, also featuring artists Tracy Bultje and Julia Ismambetova.

Pop by the gallery this Saturday May 30th from 1pm to 3pm to celebrate three gorgeous new collections of peaceful paintings.

Julia Ismambetova's "High Above II" is absolutely glowing in the gallery window!

Where I Like to Be, featuring Julia, Tracy Bultje, and Kim Atlin, is on display until Saturday June 20th at 237 Wortley Rd.

Join us this Saturday May 30th from 1pm to 3pm at the Opening Reception to celebrate this beautiful, peaceful exhibition. All are welcome to stop by and enjoy an afternoon of art!

Kim Atlin joins us at Westland Gallery for the first time, alongside gallery artists Julia Ismambetova and Tracy Bultje!

We absolutely love Kim's work; the gentle colours, the intricate links, and the peaceful subject matter. Kim's full inventory of available paintings is currently on display at the gallery and also available online at www.westlandgallery.ca.

We get so many questions about Julia Ismambetova's unique creative process. Julia creates her art using original technique, taking a modern approach to the traditional art of batik. Each painting begins with a simple pencil sketch, the colour palette envisioned intuitively from the start and then painted in layers. Hot paraffin wax is applied to preserve selected areas of colour and create unique crackled effects.

Today is the first day of our new exhibition, Where I Like To Be, featuring gorgeous new work by Julia Ismambetova, Tracy Bultje, and new-to-Westland artist Kim Atlin!
