About Skin Deep Theatre Production
The theatre production of Skin Deep will be performed at The Arts Project April 1- 5th, 2014. The desire is that Skin Deep will remind ourselves of our youth, a time when we were free of stereotypes and labels, accepting each other as we are. For young adults who face bullying, silently struggling as they attempt to fit in. It is for woman and men who have to ad
just to how they see themselves as they get older, struggling to accept change that comes with age. Most importantly, the desire is to be able to relate to the individuals who feel they've lost their identity due to cancer. This play is for anyone who has shied away from their image in the mirror unable to see past the ‘imperfections - real or not. Following the show’s run April 2-5th, 2014 at The Arts Project, a charity performance for Wellspring London will follow at Elgin Theatre Guild, 8pm Saturday April 12, 2004. About the playwright

In conjunction with the theatre production, an opportunity for students within the London Catholic or Thames Valley District School boards to create and submit their art pieces. Select pieces will be on display along the 'red wall' on the main floor of the London Central Library during the month March before moving to the gallery at the London Arts Project March 25th - April 5th, 2014. The subject of both showcases are, around refection of self-image & beauty. How the media and peers influence how we see ourselves or each other. The artists will be expected to address these issues in their pieces and submissions will be either, photography, drawings, mixed media or 3 dimensional. Depending on submissions and size we hope to display approximately 24 pieces at the central library for the month of March 2014. As well, due to an overwhelming show of support from the community, we have been able to rent the whole gallery at The Arts Project March 24-April 5th, 2014 which will hold approx. 80 pieces. An opening gala is scheduled to kick off the art gallery as well as the auction on Tues March 25th 7-9pm. About the Auction for Well spring
