Kawartha Art Gallery KAG provides a venue to foster + promote the artistic interests of all citizens. Admission is free. bio.site/kag

Kawartha Art Gallery had its beginnings in the late 1960's, established as the "Kawartha Arts and Crafts Association". In 1976, The Lindsay Gallery was founded in a little house on Victoria Avenue North. It was in this location that the Gallery Board of Governors and members focused on the goals of presenting art to the community through Art Classes, Exhibitions, Lectures and Workshops. Today, located on the second floor of the Lindsay Public Library on Kent Street, a volunteer Board of Governors and Members work to maintain the spirit and dedication of its founders: to foster and promote the artistic interests of all citizens.

Protect Participation. Strengthen Democracy.

Harassment, online abuse, and gender-based intimidation are creating barriers to democratic participation, particularly for women in public life.

This petition calls on City of Kawartha Lakes Council to establish a Civic Participation Working Group to examine these challenges and recommend ways to ensure safe, respectful, and inclusive civic engagement.

Everyone deserves to participate in public life free from harassment and intimidation.

Sign the petition and help build a stronger, more inclusive democracy in Kawartha Lakes  https://jumpinkawarthalakes.ca/online-petitions
