Today, we’re shining a light on Katie Turcotte, an emerging local artist whose work explores the ways art can reflect the experience of both the creator and the viewer.

Katie works across a variety of mediums and forms, with a particular focus on oil painting, paper arts, book binding, and cyanotype. Her work invites viewers to look closer, interact, and become part of the experience, creating pieces that are thoughtful, playful, and full of curiosity. 🎨

Today, we’re shining a light on Sarah Hunter, whose artistic journey has taken her from a successful career as a graphic designer and illustrator to exploring the rich, unpredictable world of encaustic painting.

Inspired by the Ontario landscape, Sarah works with layers of pigmented wax, oil paint, pastels, raw pigments, shellac and graphite. Her process embraces heat, texture and spontaneity allowing each piece to develop a life of its own. 🎨

Come see Sarah’s work and discover the stories, textures and surprises within her pieces!
