We would like to share with all of you an email that we recently received, reading as follows...

Good Morning,
I’m Sgt Bruce, the senior meteorological technician on board the HMCS St John’s.
I’m also the ship’s senior acting postal clerk.
Today we received a very nice package of Christmas cards from your museum.
I’d like to thank you for organizing and sending the cards. It’s always great to receive Christmas cards and other bits of moral mail.
I’ve split the cards up, and have distributed them throughout the ship, to both officers, senior NCO’s and the juniors.
I’m sure several members of the crew will be writing replies when they’re able to.
Again, thank you for the cards, and for your support. And please pass along the thanks to your patrons and community members as well.
Cheers,
Sgt Keven Bruce

THE HMCS St. John's is a Halifax-class frigate, most recently deployed for five months during Operation Reassurance,
Last year, the Georgina Military Museum was able to send out over 7500 letters to our deployed troops for the holidays. We could not have done it without ALL OF YOU! We love to receive responses like these, and love to share them with you as well!
This year we are aiming higher than ever before, as we have set a goal of TEN THOUSAND letters and care packages for our troops!
Your letters and care packages can be dropped off at the Museum on weekends from 10:00-4:00, beginning this weekend as we open for the 2026 season!
We can't wait to see you!
