Today at Greenwood, Canada Geese wade in the shallows, Pampas grasses swish in the breeze, and Dante calmly contemplates his installation under the blazing maple tree.

What a wonderful, memorable evening with Newfoundland writer Michael Crummey headlining StoryFest Hudson last evening! Our first author in the fall line-up of our 25th anniversary, Michael was charming, humble, and funny. His fans filled the community centre and lined up to buy his latest novel, The Adversary, and his poetry as well. We gave him a warm welcome and loved every minute of his presentation. Thank you Susan Gilmore Lombard for being an excellent interviewer!

Quelle soirée merveilleuse et inoubliable en compagnie de l'écrivain terre-neuvien Michael Crummey, tête d'affiche de StoryFest à Hudson, hier soir ! Premier auteur à se produire dans le cadre de la programmation d'automne de notre 25e anniversaire, Michael s'est montré charmant, humble et plein d'humour. Ses fans ont rempli le centre communautaire et ont fait la queue pour acheter son dernier roman, ‘The Adversary’ ainsi que ses recueils de poésie.
