Teichert Gallery A nonprofit art gallery with an extensive selection of original fine art by Atlantic Canadian artists

Teichert Gallery is a center for connecting both the local and international community with the work of emerging and established contemporary Maritime artists. Established in 1976 by the Art Sales and Rental Society, the gallery continues to grow and support the Permanent Collection of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia while providing patrons with an inviting atmosphere to browse the extensive selection of original art.

Reflecting on our Ocean Week event! Thank you to everyone who made this afternoon of wonderful art and music happen. Anne and Edward Wedler showed us how to capture the essence of the ocean with paint, while musician Vladimir Sitnikov serenaded us with some beautiful acoustics.

Calling all Atlantic 2SLGBTQIA+ Artists! Now is the time to submit for Teichert Gallery’s First Annual Pride show that is happening in July! Don’t miss this amazing opportunity. Artists are invited to consider themes including: chosen families, resistance, q***r joy, as well as their own personal definition of “Pride”. All artwork will be chosen by a volunteer jury.
