Big machines have officially arrived at Dynamic Earth! There's something new to discover before you even head underground. 🚜👷‍♀️

Next to the iconic Big Nickel, you can now get up close to real mining equipment showcasing the technology and innovation behind modern mining. Thanks to our partners at Epiroc and Komatsu, these impressive machines are now part of the Dynamic Earth experience.

The lineup will change throughout the season, so every visit could bring the chance to see a different piece of mining equipment.

After exploring the surface, continue underground on one of our guided mine tours, including the new Next-Generation Mine Tour, to discover how mining has evolved and where it's headed next.

It’s Plastic Bag Free Day, a reminder that the choices we make every day can have a lasting impact on the planet.

Experience how waste can be transformed into something extraordinary through MASSIVE art installations in our current special exhibition, Earth Works: Where Art Meets Action.

Feel what it's like to swim in an ocean of 10,000 plastic bottles, see the Giant Plastic Tap up close, and explore the Thinker's Burden, all by Canadian artist Benjamin Von Wong. See the transformation of discarded materials into thought-provoking works of art all summer long.

You may leave looking at the everyday items a little differently.

Earth Works is included with admission to Science North.
