Last night I had the honour of joining Shannon Dunfield as we handed out the Player of the Game honours at the new Indigenous Uniform unveiling for the NWP Wolves volleyball teams. I acted as a consultant through the process with Dene artist John Rombough being selected. John is a nationally recognized artist from Yellowknife. Over the years we have carried a number of artworks featuring John’s work. Thank Vanessa for including us in your process. The uniforms stand out and look amazing.

Robbie Craig ornaments make a wonderful addition to staff Christmas gifts. We have supplied staff numbers from 4 to 75 and always had a 100% positive reaction. Right now choice is as good as it will ever be. For your staff this year, add a Robbie Craig ornament.

Can you find the 3 deer in this painting? There’s a painting for every fall day. Today I had an early appointment and drove 116 north of Costco and saw a number of deer in field that had already been harvested and this painting from Suzanne Sandboe titled “In the Shadows” popped to mind. Looks like we are back to beautiful weather this weekend, perfect to stop in and see us.

This 1/1 print from Mary Parslow sums up today’s weather perfectly with “Raw Peace”. A cool fall wind has the leaves blowing and trees bending. Anyone that knows Mary and by extension her husband Charlie would agree they are wonderful people. We have a number of pieces from Mary, some framed and some unframed plus greeting cards.

Well. Our trees looked like this a week ago, before the wind and snow. Snow is gone and wind is gone but many of our fall colours went with it. This beautiful painting from GP’s Jim White is in our west windows for people driving by but it could be brightening up your space. Come see us. Tuesday - Friday 10-5:30 and Saturdays 11-3.
