Dreamcatchers Gift & Art Gallery Dreamcatchers Gift & Art Gallery, an Indigenous family owned business showcasing local arts & gifts!

We are a certified Aboriginal Business with Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business. With sincere gratitude to those whose territory we reside on, we would like to acknowledge that Dreamcatchers Gift & Art Gallery/Dreamcatchers Art Rental Ltd is located on Treaty 6 territory - the traditional and ancestral territory of the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Settlements and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Regions 2, 3 and 4 within the historical Northwest Métis Homeland. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us.

Today’s Truth & Reconciliation event was a lovely community gathering that we are most grateful for. It’s beautiful to see everyone in and around the tipi, honouring the truth and walking together in the spirit of reconciliation. Thank you to all who curated this event and for inviting us to greet everyone with a peaceful smudge. 🧡 -Stacey & Ellie

Many people have been asking us if the city is doing anything for National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, so here is the link to that information on the city website. At the entrance to the precinct, we will be hosting a peaceful smudge; a quiet space for remembrance, reflection, prayer, and honest intention. See you there. 🧡

On September 30, honour residential school victims and survivors. Join Fort Saskatchewan in recognizing Indigenous histories and supporting reconciliation.
