River erosion has slowly reshaped the original NWMP fort site over time. As the soil shifts, and with a little help from our sheep keeping the grass down, we still occasionally find artifacts surfacing. The land is still revealing its history.

I loved museums growing up and was lucky to have a family who encouraged my wandering through exhibit spaces. It was always a dream to work in a place that sparked that same curiosity, even though I did not quite know how to get there. I was fortunate to find my way into the field, and I have not looked back since.
