Trick-or-treat at historic homesteads and schoolhouses during an afternoon of FREE Halloween fun at the Fort Heritage Precinct.

For generations, mending, altering, and repairing clothing were everyday skills. Our Make Do and Mend series looks back at those traditions and puts them to work for today.

Bring a garment from home that could use a little TLC or practise your new skills using materials provided at the Fort Heritage Precinct.

We’re looking forward to welcoming guests to the Fort Heritage Precinct on October 23 and 24 for an evening exploring the fascinating history of séances, spiritualism and our centuries-old curiosity about connecting with those who came before us.

From the spiritualist movement of the 1800s to modern paranormal investigations, it’s sure to be a spirited evening.
