NOW BOOKING: Fall Photo Sessions! (Please share!)
Yup, it's that time of year again folks! We are now taking bookings for Fall photos for the 2026 season!
-Fall photos begin on the Sunday Sept 27, 2026 and carry through each weekend until the end of October.
-Weekend space is limited in October due to the high demand of fall photo bookings, so bookings will be in 30 min blocks every weekend from 10am until 4pm.
-Weekend locations will be determined by us and all clients will be notified by the Friday before each weekend of the location depending on how the scenery develops.
-Weekday bookings available for requested locations depending on our availability. Message us to check your preferred dates.
-All bookings will take place locally where we operate in the Elliot Lake area.
Unavailable dates:
October 10th (Wedding)
October 12th (Thanksgiving)
Mini session ($75.00) - a quick mini session of 5 photos to keep it quick and simple!
-Unlimited session ($125.00) - No photo limit for your 30 minute time slot.

What type of colors are you looking for?
-End of September is generally the early stages with lots of reds and yellows visible around town and the edges of the forest, however the interiors of the forest are generally still very green. We usually look for forest edges for these sessions such as the path across the road from No Frills.
-Early October until around Thanksgiving-ish the interiors start to become very yellow so we generally move into trails such as Sheriffs Creek.
-Mid October we see many leaves falling off the trees. Trees start to become bare, while leaves fill the ground. We generally find little pockets still flourishing with color.
-Late October, Early November its brown leaves on the ground. This is great for the soft brown backgrounds, children in piles of leaves, halloween sessions etc.

What to wear?
For autumn photo sessions, people often ask us for clothing ideas. We generally suggest burgundy's, Teal, Deep-dark Yellows, plads, browns, beige, earth tones.

Should i bring anything?
Absolutely! People often bring blankets to sit on or wrap up in, message boards, pumpkins or anything you wish to add to your personal session.

What if it rains?
if it is raining on your photo session date we will contact you to reschedule your session filling in any unbooked or cancelled upcoming timeslots or both weekends or weekdays, which ever works best for you.
We do NOT reschedule clients days ahead of their booking of the weather app calling for rain, we discovered that year after year the weatherman is often...wrong. We wait until the day of the session to reschedule if necessary. Overcast is not rain! infact, overcast will give you better photo results against fall scenery due to the lack of shadows and a defused light.

*please note: If you never booked with us before, we may require a $50.00 retainer fee towards your session if you choose to book on one of our early october weekends due to the high demand. Past clients will not require a deposit.
**please give us minimum 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or change your session date so we have an opportunity to fill that vacancy.
