Elliot Lake Museum

Elliot Lake Museum Dedicated to engaging and educating our community and visitors by collecting, preserving, interpreting, and sharing our ongoing heritage and history for all.

Tracing our heritage right from its geological foundations, the Elliot Lake Museum preserves and shares early Indigenous culture, trapping and logging industry, and the community’s collective identity—with a special emphasis on prospecting and mining. Dedicated to serving the public, the museum’s collections and programming are accessible upon request. A new location for the museum will be unveiled in 2023 to strengthen this community partnership and education.
