Among the Apple Blossoms

It was a beautiful spring day, fresh and bright,
I stepped outside to catch some light.
No plans at all, just open air,
and apple blossoms waiting there.

A honeybee was working fast,
from bloom to bloom it softly passed.
Among the petals, pale and fair,
it moved like it belonged right there.

It paused a moment, just to stay,
then drifted gently on its way.
And I stood watching, still and small,
as spring unfolded through it all.

I just wanted to hop on and say a huge heartfelt thank you to my recent star senders! ⭐

Thank you, Mikee Nvj Curtis and Amber Cade for your generosity! I am incredibly grateful! ☺️❤️
Your support means so much to me, and I truly appreciate every single star that has been sent my way!

As always, stars are completely optional and never expected. Your likes, comments, shares, and kind words are more than enough!

Thank you everyone for supporting my photography journey! I appreciate each and every one of you more than words can say!

There is something about Alberta landscapes that never gets old to me.

The rolling fields, endless skies, quiet back roads, mountain views, and the way the light stretches across the land at the end of the day. No matter how many times I stop to photograph it, creation always finds a new way to leave me in awe.

Some places do not need words to feel beautiful. They simply are!

Snow Day With Munchkin

It was a winter day, the kind you step into just for fresh air and a quick reset, nothing planned beyond that.

Munchkin was already on the ground when I noticed him, standing right there like he belonged to that patch of snow-covered earth.

He looked up at me and held still for a moment, like we both understood there was nothing to rush. Just a simple meeting of eyes in the middle of winter.

Then he moved on, and I kept going too. Simple as that.

3.4K Followers!!! 🥰🫶

I still can't quite believe that many people have chosen to follow along on this little journey of mine. So thank you for being here and apart of this journey!

Lately, life has been wonderfully full! The weather has been beautiful, and I've been spending as much time outside as possible with my son, enjoying these days while I can! Motherhood has a way of reminding me that some moments are meant to be lived before they're shared!

I'm still taking lots of photos and sharing the joy I find each day, but I have slowed down a little when it comes to engaging online! Most of my FB presence happens during quiet moments during the day, (which isn't often, lol) and after bedtime. If I'm not commenting or reacting as much as I used to, please know it isn't because I don't care... I still do my best to support, encourage, and cheer others on whenever I can!

Being a stay-at-home mom means balancing a lot of beautiful responsibilities, and right now I'm choosing to be present for this season while still nurturing this amazing community!

Anyways, with all that said, to everyone who follows along, supports my work, leaves kind comments, or simply enjoys a photo, thank you! Reaching 3.4k followers is something I never take for granted! I'm so grateful you're here, and I can't wait to continue sharing more photos, more joy, and more of this journey with you all! ☺️🫶📸

Although I did not make it to Round 4 of The People’s Choice art competition, I am beyond thankful for every single person who voted for me, supported me, encouraged me, and took even a moment out of their day to cheer me on! Truly, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Making it to Round 3 was already such an incredible blessing, and being part of this competition has been such a joyful experience. I never expected to win, so to even be included among so many talented artists felt like an honor all on its own!

More than anything, I’m just grateful. Grateful for this community, grateful for the kindness I was shown, and grateful that I get to continue sharing my art with all of you. Your support means more to me than words could ever fully explain.

To everyone still in the competition, I wish you all the best of luck. I’ll still be voting and cheering artists on throughout the week because there are so many incredibly talented and inspiring people taking part in this. It truly has been such an honor to be a small part of something so special.

Thank you again for all the love, support, kindness, and encouragement! My heart is so full! 🥹🫶

There is something so special about watching wildlife in its natural habitat. Quiet moments, untouched beauty, and little glimpses into a world that keeps moving whether we notice it or not.

Every time I photograph animals in the wild, I am reminded just how incredible creation truly is. These moments may only last a few seconds, but somehow the memory stays forever!

From Stillness to Flight

A tiny chickadee I took, so small,
resting gently upon a stump through it all.
Quiet and still in the morning light,
a fleeting pause before taking flight.
Then in a moment, swift and free,
it lifted into the open breeze.
From weathered wood to endless air,
a quiet wonder I was blessed to share.
Two simple moments, calm and bright,
held in memory and morning light.

Fresh blooms, warm sunshine, and little pockets of color everywhere I look 🌼

Flower season always feels like the earth waking up again after a long winter. The fields feel brighter, the air feels softer, and suddenly even the smallest flowers seem worth stopping for.

Rain-Drenched Grass

Rain sits in the grass,
beads of water lined along every blade.
Close up, everything becomes detail,
each drop holding its place.

The ground looks dressed in small clear pieces,
collected carefully on green.
Nothing moves faster than it needs to,
nothing unfinished or waiting for more.

Just rain resting where it landed,
simple as it is.
