Cornwall Community Museum

Cornwall Community Museum We are a community museum devoted to the preservation of Cornwall and the SD&G Counties history. We look forward to meeting you 🙂

The Cornwall Community Museum and Archives is operated by the Stormont, Dundas, & Glengarry Historical Society with generous support from the City of Cornwall. We are devoted to preserving and protecting all aspects of the Cornwall and SD&G Counties heritage and history. We manage a vast collection of artifacts, many of which are on display here at the Woodhouse (Cornwall Community Museum), as wel

l as an elaborate archive of historic documents, books, and photographs available for research purposes. As a community museum, an important aspect of our mandate is to engage the public and to ensure that we are serving the community in the best way possible! As such, we always look forward to welcoming visitors from the SD&G counties and beyond!

On April 11th, we were pleased to dedicate the Industry Exhibit in memory of Ransom Ledoux alongside his family and members of the SDG Historical Society. Ransom was a longtime member, director, and former President of the SDG Historical Society. His many contributions will undoubtedly help the Museum continue to meet its mandate to the benefit of the entire community. Thank you Ransom!
