What do kids really want to know about money?

Coming this October, the Museums of Burlington will welcome Money in 10 Questions: Kids’ Edition!

Developed by the Bank of Canada Museum, this interactive exhibition was inspired by more than 800 questions from Canadian kids about money. Visitors can explore 10 big questions through hands-on activities, including balancing a budget, learning about currency and even discovering what it takes to save a million dollars 💵

It’s a fun, interactive way for kids and families to learn about money, spark conversations and explore their financial futures together.

Today we're recognizing the Rotary Clubs of Burlington as proud Burlington Builders whose longstanding commitment to community continues to make a meaningful difference in our city 🏗️

Since 1951, Rotary has brought community-minded Burlington residents together to support local initiatives, from scholarships and food security programs to affordable housing, community centres, Carpenter Hospice, Joseph Brant Hospital and the expansion of Joseph Brant Museum.

Today, four Rotary clubs - Rotary Club of Burlington, Burlington Lakeshore Rotary, Burlington Central and Burlington North - work together to support Burlington and communities around the world 🤝

The Farm to Table: Harvest Dinner is happening on October 3 at the historic Ireland House Museum, and the Burlington Museums Foundation is a proud supporter of this special evening 🌾

Enjoy a four-course farm-to-table dinner featuring locally grown ingredients, along with a cocktail hour, local entertainment, a historic home tour and more all while supporting local museums 🍽

This is the Museums of Burlington’s largest fundraiser of the year. Funds from this event will support the care and preservation of our historic collection, and educational programming at the Museums, which serves over 6,000 students annually.

Do you have memories of Brant Street? We'd love to hear them! Museums of Burlington is developing a new exhibition opening in summer 2027 that will explore the history of Brant Street.

We're looking for community members who remember Brant Street from years past and would be willing to share their stories through a 5–10 minute oral history interview. Whether you remember shopping downtown, meeting friends, attending parades, working for a local business, or simply spending time on Brant Street, your memories can help preserve Burlington's history for future generations.
