Still smiling (and recovering 😄) from last weekend’s . I think I spoke with close to 500 people over those two days… honestly kind of mind-blowing.
It was such a good weekend.
Big thanks to my wonderful hosts Tim King and Carolyn MacDonald for opening their beautiful timber frame home, alongside Philippa Gumley, and to for adding such lovely guitar music on Saturday.
And thanks as well to , Liz , , and the whole Bowen Arts Tour team for a fabulous show and all the work that goes into making these successful events happen year after year.

Really special to reconnect with so many old friends, clients, neighbours, fellow artists, new islanders, and visitors over the weekend. After the kind of year I’ve had, those conversations and connections meant a lot.
Feeling very grateful for this island community. 🙏🏼🩵

🎨💍🎶 To my art-loving friends—You’re invited to the . It’s that time again … Bowen Island‘s third annual Arts tour is lighting up the island and I’d love for you to stop by.

BAT is unlike any other art show experience—with 130 local artists across beautiful Bowen Island, each in unique homes and studio settings.

This year feels especially meaningful for me…
I’m in the process of winding down my jewelry collections, so this will be one of the last opportunities to see and shop my existing pieces.

🦉Plot twist of the week: Life has a way of weaving sorrow and wonder in the most surprising ways. Just after hearing of my dear friend Joanne’s passing, I set out for a quiet walk in the woods. Out of nowhere, I was met by a territorial owl who clearly didn’t appreciate my company. After several swoops at my face and eyes, it struck a forceful blow to the back of my head I’ll never forget.
I’m now tenderly and slowly recovering from another concussion — with a newfound respect for owls! It’s still very much unfolding… shaken and wobbly, I keep seeing wings across my face, still sensing, still listening to the mystery moving through me.
It feels like a powerful summons to slow down and integrate all the transitions and disorientation I’ve experienced these past months, mirrored in nature’s fierce power, life’s unpredictability, raw wildness — and breathtaking beauty.

Thank you for your love, friendship and healing vibes. 🙏🏼💜

Hey friends- just keeping you in the loop … yes the rumours are true… the winds of change continue to blow. 🌬️

The cottage is for sale, I’ve been given notice, and I’m officially packing up again—move #4 in 6 years! At this point, I could probably teach a course in “graceful relocating” (or at least “how to label boxes like a pro”) 😅. After some deep processing and literal grounding in the earth, I’ve made peace with it all and am surrendered to the flow. ✨

Thankfully, I’ve found a peaceful garden suite for myself—plus a separate space for music and jewelry making—both still here on beautiful Bowen Island. Phew!

After welcoming over 1,000 people (!) during the recent Art Show, I want to let you know my retail store will stay open a little longer—Fridays + Saturdays, 11–4, until June 28.

Starting this weekend: a moving sale begins, featuring discontinued jewelry, extra beads, tools, and tucked-away treasures. It’s also the last chance to see my latest work fully displayed in this magical historic cottage before I close the door on that chapter and hand over the keys.

Going forward, I’ll be offering home consultations, café meetups, and by-appointment viewings—on Bowen, in Vancouver, or from easy-to-browse trays in a travelling suitcase. Some work will also be available online (though the site won’t be updated until fall, when something fresh and beautiful is coming… ✨).

And hey—if you’re around July 5, 6, or 7 and feel like lending a hand, please DM me. I’d be so grateful. Onwards & Upwards! xo
