🚒 A Piece of History Comes Home!🇨🇦

On August 22, 2026, WHFB proudly presented the 1948 Ford/Bickle Pumper that we brought back home from Alberta! ❤️

It was a very successful presentation and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this incredible piece of firefighting history and the work that went into bringing it back to our community.

A special thank you to MP Tim Louis and Wilmot Mayor Natasha Salonen for joining us and helping make the day so memorable!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and share in this special moment. 🚒👏

TODAY is the last day chance to get your tickets for this months Raffle. It’s a short month for us and the draw will be made on Wednesday night.

Our new old fire truck has been delivered back to Wilmot township and we are in the process of having it safety checked and make any repairs necessary to have the license plates and insurance for driving it on the road again. If you haven’t been following it is a 1948 Ford 155.

Our old 1949 Ford is home again. That is it is back in Wilmot Township as part of our antique fire truck fleet. Now all we need is some cash as we are having the truck overhauled and safety checked so that it is road worthy and will be insured and licensed. Our monthly 50/50 raffle is a way that you can help and possibly go home yourself with some winnings. Wilmot Heritage Fire Brigades is 100% volunteer with no paid staff. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

We need a place to store it and the ‘91 Pierce fire truck. We must vacate the storage place where the ‘91 was stored, by July 1/26.

We are looking for secure, dry storage (cement floor, NOT dirt floor)
